BELL & HOWELL MODEL 658 16mm. SOUND PROJECTOR TQ 1

This is the Japanese made Bell & Howell model 658 TQI with autothread facility, standard 2" f 1.2 lens. Has built-in speaker. The 658 has two brightness settings in forward, and reverse, microphone input and volume, bass and treble controls. The film path has a 3 claw pull down which readily negotiates joins and splices in older prints, and a loop-restoring facilty. Silent speed is achieved by a simple lever. Accomodates 50 ~ cycles 200/250 volts AC operation. The lamp is 24 v 250 w (A1 235) quartz with dichroic reflector providing a brilliant picture. The projector mechanism has a metallic grey finish with grey fibre case. The spool arms extend to accommodate reels of up to 2000' ft. capacity. Optical Sound and Magnetic replay facility.
